None that I know of. Seems kind of redundant with XBLA. They did release a compilation of XBLA but I don't recall any arcade games on it (the big draw was Geometry Wars).
There were several compilations for Xbox though, you might want to check the compatibility list.

Whoa, are you saying some Xbox games will run on an Xbox360?

You're joking right?...If you have an American NTSC unit, almost all Xbox games are compatible with the 360. Here's a chart:

In terms of arcade comps...Atari Anthology, Namco Museum and Tecmo Classic Arcade are all compatible. I'm not sure about Taito Legends.

Almost all?
I thought it was only around 30%? I know at least half of my games won't work on a 360. But I honestly don't know, just might be the types of games I go in for aren't ones high up on their priority list to emulate.
Atari Anthology works alright in BC mode by the way (I'd suggest this if you want to play some Atari arcade games like the previous poster mentioned, has better emulation quality than recent ports to XBLA such as Missile Command have had), though the menus have some graphical glitching but nothing that affects the games.
Tecmo Classic Arcade had some issues if I remember right (Seems like I remember it not booting up after a emulation update but I'd need to check), but its been a while. Don't think i've tried the Namco or Taito collections in BC mode on my 360.
I can try those out and several more if you'd be interested in how well they work out? I have most of the Xbox classic gaming collections except for the 2d fighting ones and the initial Namco Museum (Only had a GC at the time so got it for that).
If you like Tapper, Time Pilot, and Frogger, give the XBLA demos a try. They're the best home versions of those titles in my opinion and well worth 5$ each unlike many of the other flawed classic arcade ports on Live.

Slight exaggeration. More like 30% of Xbox games are truly backwards compatible. I can see several games on the Wikipedia list that are "backwards compatible", yet cannot be played on a 360. Mercenaries for example. Microsoft claims it works, yet anyone who has tried it knows better.
Gotta' second Atari Anthology for the original Xbox. It's in HD, which is especially nice for the vector games, and plays wonderfully on the 360. Should also be under $20 if you can find it.

Well I just bought my 360 yesterday, so I don't know that much about it.

Yeah there's a glitch in Mega Man Anniversary Collection on Xbox. Nobody believed me, until I showed everyone at work heh.
Mega Man 8 has sprite issues whenever you play it. It's annoying as hell.

I seriously doubt that retro compilations will appear on 360 and PS3 anytime soon because companies are making more money releasing them one at a time for download. Just an opinion.

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried these out tonight and they're fantastic. They really did some nice graphics enhancements on Centipede and Millipede as well.
And Pac-Man Championship Edition is just awesome.

You mean the constant freezing and map glitches weren't intentional? That report of compatibility was such a letdown. I have my xbox collection broken up into two sections, ones that are compatible with the 360 and ones that aren't. The ones that aren't sit with my regular xbox in the basement, and all the others sit with the 360.
Sign out from Xbox Live and Mercenaries supposedly doesn't glitch or lock up.
Panzer Dragoon Orta is the one giving me trouble. I get a screen in multiple languages telling me to put it in an Xbox. WTF?

I'm not sure that's a 360 compatibility issue...didn't TCA have issues (glitches and emulation problems) even on the original Xbox?

I'm just going by what I've heard and what the lists say...if you say a game doesn't work, I believe you.

Okay, you're forgiven. :) Seriously though...it doesn't say anything about compatibility on the box or in the system manual? Perhaps not. I guess backward compatibility isn't a major selling point these days.

Huh? I'll have to try this. According to the Xbox.com forums, the reason for the lock ups are due to the map glitches. Somehow the system can't reconcile the glitchy garbage the emulator is sending to it so it just freezes.

Anyone running MAME on their 360 yet?
