Off Brand PS2 Network Adaptors?

Am i crazy, or did i see some recently in a Best Buy or CompUSA ad??? Its been quite awhile since ive played the ole ps2, (too busy with the NES and Genesis!), but I had no clue there were others out than sony's now? Anybody have opinions on them?

I'm only aware of one 3rd party adapter but I haven't heard one good thing from that yet so I'd stick with Sony brand for now. If there's more than one different 3rd party model, I don't know. At $50 a pop, it's not like I can buy a few and toss aside the crappy ones like the cheap GBA lights.

DO NOT BUY ONE, I bought one off ebay, and it does not work at all, you have to call the ISP and ask for bullshit, and it doesnt work, DONT BUY!!!
