Any news on a release date yet?

I am assuming you are referring to the the new version of the Classic guide? There has not been an official release date announced yet....

If you are looking for the Advance guide, you can purchase it here:

I believe Joe posted earlier that there would be a August release for the new classic guide. He was racing to have it ready for CGE, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Well thank you all for the answer. I really need the 'Classic Guide' only.

They should sell it as a downloadable version. I am pretty sure the original was almost completely available in .pdf format from this site at one time....

IIRC that was only the rarity lists.

do the rarity lists include the pricing? that's really what I'm interested in :)

and when you say the classic guide - do you mean 8bit and older? or is there a new version of the 16/32 bit guide coming as well, because that's the one I want to purchase and would hate for it to be outdated within a month...

IIRC that was only the rarity lists.

I remember downloading everything but the articles that began each section. They were identical to the book otherwise. I think I may have had a link to a directory I was not supposed to have...

Anyways they were cool enough that I bought the books.

Oh they had Santulli slants and everything? For some reason I thought they were just lists...but I'm relying on my feeble mental faculties here.

They used to have the Slants in them, but after the later books were released I'm pretty sure they've all been taken out. Now only the lists are offered.

Yeah I think it's just the pure list of games, no text, no nothing else.
