The latest rumor on the street is that RE4 going to the to 360. Continue to view the first supposedly leaked screenshot of the 360 version of Resident Evil 4. Could it really be true?? Or a clever hoax?!?

First I LUV Resident Evil 4 and still play it regularly on my trusty old PS2's.
The thing is Ive already played through the GC and PS2 versions and rented the Wii port.
also this screen shot looks nice but its just a shineyshineyerrr version of whats already available on 3 other game consoles.
I hope they don't release it because I'll feel screwed I bought the Wii version. If I knew this might be coming out later I would have waited for the Xbox 360 version.

Many forum posters on the net say the screenshot is just the PC version modded/cleaned up ala less fog etc.
I think they could be right.

Yeah that looks like the PC edition. However....RE4 360 achievements would interesting..

probably just a rumour at this point but give Capcom a little time. If they can make a buck on it, they'll releases it. They have a solid track record of moving the RE franchise across different platforms. Even across different console generations.

This is a picture from the PC version...nothing more. Yes, it looks that good with the new texture pack included in the US version.
As someone who bought the Gamecube, PS2, PC, and Wii versions...I would still buy a 360 version in a heartbeat. Also, keep in mind that RE5 is still 2-3 years away.
This is Capcom, port champions of the world. I wouldn't doubt RE4 coming to the X360.

I think RE5 could be released by the end of '08 under the best of circumstances.
From what Ive read it would be released within the next year to year and a half at the very longest.

You just awnsered your own question....
Until I just recently got the Wii edition, I (like alot of other Xbox 1 owners who didn't have a Cube or PS2) never got to play RE4, last gen. So I could see a port to the 360 happening.

I guess it could happen. There were achievements in FEAR worth 0 points. (Vermin, Suicide King and Afraid)
Someone should make a thread for guessing achievements in RE4. It would be fun. :D
