I sincerely think you got ripped off. Those carts are easily found here in mexico and are worth 10-15 US at most here.

agreed. those can be found pretty easily if you are looking for them. most likely those 190 games are hacks of the same 10 or so games over and over as well.

It seems like those 'super joy' type bootleg NES games systems. It's about 20 different games, each with a ton of slight varriations each with a different name. By looking at the menus I can tell you it's Asisn, not Mexican.

Do you think we get localized labels? :P We don't. We get the same ones as everywhere else in the world.

lol you spent 50 bucks on a bootleg. How much is it worth? About 50 less dollars than you spent on it.

i think it's all relative to how much you believe it to be worth.. if you just wanted something as an oddity then yeah it's fine IMO, if you wanted something to sell on then you wont get that money back too easily.. i have personally spent a similar amount on a 190 in one, but it was due to the fact i just wanted a few obscure items for my collection and to me it was worth the money.. so what im saying is, if you feel it was worth the cash you spent then it's all good

I think it's a neat find regardless of "book value". :)

I used to have a 31-in-1 cart that I simply loved. It wasn't worth shit but I paid $25 for it and really enjoyed it!

I don't think it has anything to do with either obscurity or resale value. It's a matter of what actual games are on it. If it had been a real 190-in-1 with 190 different games (they do exist, they're just very uncommon compared to the ones that have 10 to 1000 repeats for every actual game) and especially if they were good games (that happens too, I've seen pirate carts with all the Nekketsu games or tons of Konami games or things like that on them), it could easily be worth $50.

It's unfortunate that this one he bought sounds like it was a rip off, though. That's the risk with pirate carts, you usually don't know what you'll actually get.

Go back to the seller of said cart and tell them to at least have the common decency to give a reach around next time.

ive heard of a lot of multis going for 50 or more. our friend cmosfm sold one not long ago. if you want a multi, sometimes you pay for it. i never see them here, and likely wouldnt feel screwed dropping $50 on one. who cares? finding a cart few people have - even if the games suck on it - is cool.

congrats! it looks great and is a good addition to your collection!

It's not uncommon to see these multi-carts go for $25-50 on eBay. If you don't like it after a while, you could always resell it and get close, if not all you paid for it. Either way, it's a good piece for the collection.

Pirate Multi Carts are always the ones good to have in the system to play. I have a 41 in 1 that I keep in the system to play.

It looks like a cool pirate cart
Whoa there.

Also, on the label - top right, what's that?

Bottom right - Lawnmower man???

Depends on the games, $50 is steep for any Famicom/NES bootleg multicart but if there are quality games or original game hacks / reworks on it then it's still cool to have. Like has been said, I have a few multicarts that I keep around because there are a number of obscure or quirky titles on them I haven't gotten around to picking up the original Famicom cartridges for.

I've got a pirate that's got pictures from Final Fantasy X2 on the cover, along with Sonic among other interesting pics. Most of which aren't actually on the cartridge. There is a Sonic game on it, it's essentially Super Mario Bros. with the Mario sprite changed to a one-color blocky amateur looking Sonic.

I'm intrigued as to what mind-bending wonders were contained in this cart to make the thread poster go off on a mentalist swearing mission.

Pokemon = photo sensitive epilepsy attacks
50 in 1 Pirate carts = random Tourette's syndrome attacks

Huh? Must be the 6th post that is missing when I look into his post history. Oh well, he's gone already so he is just another loser who hit the wall.

Yeah, it was a thread cussing us out for being super nerds with no girlfriends or lives... So he's just an idiot that got pissed at responses to his "finds" that weren't as epical as he thought.

Oh well, idiots: Easy come easy go, right? I don't think anyone was too hard on him. I guess the truth hurts...

I have one of those NES carts (I should take a pic sometime). Intresting about them is the "super" versions of them on the cart that let you stage select and change the amount of lives you begin with (some games give you unlimited if you select 0).
