Mega-cd question.

Hi on a mega -cd 1 do you have to have the megadrive adaptor plugged in and the mega-cd adaptor plugged in to see if it really works with the lights coming on?

You see i might be buying a mega-cd but i dont no if it works as the guy only has one megadrive adaptor and when he plugs it into the megadrive it works but when he plugs it into the meg-cd no lights come on.

Are the lights supposed to come on with the mega c-d plugged in even if the megadrive isn't plugged in? - thanks

The F1 fuse is probably fried- it's a pretty common problem with the M-CD1. It's a dead simple fix though, so would probably be worth buying if you can get it for a knock-down price...

Before you hunt down fuses, the answer is: NO, the lights will not come on unless both the MD and MCD are plugged in, and the MD is turned out.

Get another Mega Drive Plug
