View Full Version : HUGE garage sale in SE MN/W WI area...?
This may belong in Off-Topic, but is anyone familiar w/ an 85-mile round trip multi-family garage sale in the St Croix River area in MN/WI? I heard it mentioned on a local radio program today & it seemed like a good opportunity for game collectors. It takes place the 1st weekend in May.
Anyone?

i live in mid southern MN and havent heard anything. St Croix River, might be like an hour away from me

Yeah-I'm from Minneapolis and just saw about it at the
Star-Tribune web site. That's the first I've heard about it.
I'm thinking about going. You have to wonder how
many people will be involved in it being we're just hearing
about it a month before. On a side note, any body from
the minneapolis area going to either Midwest classic gaming
expo or CGE?

I live in MI and I haven't heard anything about it (Duh obviously) I doubt I'd make that long trip as I don't have that much money to spare ($40 for cheap motel, $100 or so in GAS just to get there, and $50 for food for the entire trip)

Big Garage Sale?! Hmmmm. May be a bit out of range to convince the wife. My luck it'd just be clothes and Beanie Babies, like what I run into around here.
I DO know there are two big village garage sales coming up: one in Cascade WI (kinda small though) and another bigger one in Elkhart Lake, WI (ala the home of Road America). I usually find something game related at the Elkhart event. If anyone's interested I'll post the dates when I find out about them.
I too am going to Midwest Classic as getting a new(er) van has won out over going to Vegas so I won't be going to CGE.
Any past attendees to the garage sale(if applicable) & what were your finds/scores?
OK, the big sale was last wkend. Anyone go & score some deals?
