DP Store Cam: Contest Warmup!

After last night's CGE drawing I was thinking "why don't I try the webcam at the store?" We have a sign in front of and inside the store informing customers that they are being monitored and recorded so ... let's try this additional security measure.

It's not permanent, in fact the camera is going to be in our way most of the time, but here it is. Check in on the goings-on in the world's greatest store :)

We're having some fun with the camera but not sure anyone is actually watching any of it but us. Let's warm up for an upcoming contest. When you get an interesting or funny snapshot in the cam window, share the picture here with us. Shortly after CGE we'll have a contest that will run over a weekend where the best/most entertaining/etc pictures will win prizes.

Was anyone checking in yesterday? We had a production line assembling the new Vectrex "Pitchers Duel" game. You could have also watched some sort of mini-drama, literally, performed by various miniature toys. Later in the day Maryah did some sort of performance art.

The store team is having fun with it so as long as that lasts, we'll keep it.

Some of you might have seen me already (the dude in the blue Phillies shirt and hat), and man, after over 7 months of absence with me going to Japan and bringing lots of sweet stuff back for the store in the process, and being stuck at my home in South Jersey working for Lamestop for 2.5 months of hell, it feels wonderful to be back at DP :D Even if it is really hot in here for some reason o_O;
