New Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer!

A new MGS 4 trailer was shown at the Sony show at E3 today.

Looks damn amazing! Some scenes, like the first ones, looks almost like a real movie. All is realtime and in-engine, no pre-render stuff. This will also be the last Metal Gear Solid game that Kojima will make :\ Kojima will also show real gameplay at Tokyo Game Show that is comming real soon. Really looking forward to that :)

Grayfox on dp told me that all those soldiers in the pictures are reacting to foxdie and the noise the metal gears make in that trailer. But snake is the only one in that scene no affected supposedly.

I still can't stand what they did to Raiden. He was perfect in Sons of Liberty. Now, all they did was just make him a Gray Fox clone. Rather than take the existing character, and do something with him to make players like him, they're just taking the easy route by making him be like one of the most popular characters.

It seems like Naomi is talking with Campbell to Snake over a frequency thing (like in MGS) and she tells him Liquid is looking for what makes the nanomachines "tick" She confirms she injected Snake 9 years ago at Shadow Moses (thus giving us an exact date to the game) but he is still affected when all of them "freak out". This job is a "favor" for Campbell. One of the soldiers who tries to help Meryl when she falls is covered in black, yet I swear I see hair that looks like Raidens...hmmm.

After seeing this trailer, I'm not sure what the heck to think of MGS4. I must admit that I've never really played any of the MGS games. I played the PS1 game for a few hours here and there, but never really messed with any of the PS2 games. I'm not a big fan of games with tons of cutscenes. Still, I was pretty hyped for MGS4, cause this was the game that was going to singlehandedly justify my ridiculous expenditure in a launchday PS3. At least that was the theory. But after seeing this trailer, all I could think is that Kojima is a bit insane, lol. Dude definitely has a style all his own. I'm certainly going to want to try this game out the second it's available, but I'm kinda left with a WTF feeling in regards to this game. I'm sure a huge part of that is the fact that I know absolutely nothing about the back story of MGS. But when those two dudes were fighting each other at the end of the trailer (I'm assuming they were both dudes), it left me scratching my head a bit.

The new MGS4 Trailer is incredible the graphics the environment the sound the voice acting all near perfect.

Meryl's team looks like it's straight out of GI JOE. There's that guy with the Snake Eyes mask, and the other guy who looks like Roadblock right down to the big gun. Don't know who the mohawk guy is, unless he's supposed to be a Dreadnok.

This trailer's making my frothing demand increase.
