i need a no swap mod chip for my PS2, i dont want to do the flip top cases or any of that BS, i have HD Loader on one of my PS2s to play imports how ever its only a 20 gig drive and i got more games than that and some times the games act funky.
does such a thing exist any more?

I have a DMS4 Pro chip in my slim PS2 and it's great. Just pop the disc in and it loads right up. The only thing that sucks about it is that you have to patch the games for online play, but I don't think there's a mod chip out there for PS2 that allows you to play unpatched games online anyway.
Another thing about the DMS4 is that the Toxic OS for it isn't updated any more. But where it's at right now is pretty good and I don't have any complaints.

is it possible to use the independence exploit some how to get import games to boot off the disc?
i have laded them to the hard drive and booted them that way but some games (i.e. gran turismo concept) dont work right off of the hard drive.
