While I was in Seattle, I went to the EB at the mall and inquired about NCAA 2K3 since they didn't have it on the shelve. Sure enough, they had the last copy in the back. Techncially it wasn't factory sealed anymore (awe shucks) and I had to pay full price for it, but I was happy to... how in the hell is it earning $100 a copy on Ebay? Yikes.

And I got Cubivore, again full price, but this time it was factory sealed. I hope the budget label rumors aren't true.

So how do you like the game? Perfect time to be playing it with the actual NCAA Tourney going on - you can simulate the Final Four right there in your own living room!

Because Sega only printed 5,000 copies and started pulling them when they decided to get out of the Sports series franchise on the GC...

5,000 copies? Crap! I should go back to that Walmart where I saw 3 of them and pick them up!

Ditto - on the limited release. Nintendo acknowledged that the cross-platforming sports titles weren't selling very well, so they discontinued the line with Sega.

Don't expect to see any more, and since that was the last of the 2K3 sports to be released, it has a lower run than NBA, NHL, NFL, or NCAA football.

It's a challenge to find one, but it can be done. Even at $50 retail, it's worth a look. By the way, it's fun too! :D
