Hi,

Are these game doctor 7 backup devices for snes region free?. I mean, can you play american SNES backups on a Japanese Super Famicom with these devices?

Yes, you can, in fact the only lock-out between Japanese and US games is a physical one.

European games sometimes do have PAL lockout protection in software (which sometimes brings up a warning screen in-game when run on a copier.)
