I was hoping that the completion of my Saturn shooter collection would curtail my excessive spending on video games. Alas, it was not to be. I've just switched over something else now. Does it ever stop? Now it's PSone games.
Dragonball Z Ultimate 22 (the US version of an 8 year old Japanese title, just released here) $14.99
Ogre Batlle (with maps and other various crap) $29.99
Tactics Ogre $34.99
Ace Combat 3 $14.99
Threads of Fate $9.99
They also had Breath of Fire III NEW for $14.99, used for $19.99. Why? stupid corporate imbeciles.
When I got up to the counter with my purchases, I encounterd a short and amazingly geeky clerk with a very trendy haircut yet terrible dandruff. Seriously... flakes were on his shoulders, in his eyebrows, and all over his GLASSES! I couldn't stop staring and I wanted so badly to suggest a dandruff shampoo.
Anyway, he saw my Dragonball game and confided that someone had traded in the American version of the rare domestic Dragonball GT. He had purchased the game from the store and had it for sale. He wanted $100, I offered $75, and he took it. Shit game, but I've been wanting it.
Why does GameStop have all those incredibly shitty skinny plastic boxes and bad cover scans? I wanted a bunch of the games, but I'm only buying a PSX game if it's complete. Another stupid corporate blunder. Bunch of wack jobs.
Anyway, I spent close to $200... why oh why? I don't even own a car (not that I really need one.)
