Based on suggestions from some of our regular users (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103319
), we have created a new forum named What's It Worth? (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=37)

All posts regarding price checks (ie: "How much is this worth?") and finds (ie: "Look what I found!") should be posted in this new area. We're still working the kinks out so expect a few minor bumps before everything falls into place. If you see something in particular that's either working (or not working), please let us know!

I was against the changes until the finds thread was unlocked, nice to see it active again.

For me it's sort of a mixed bag. I think it's a very good solution to put all the "what's it worth" questions into a new thread in a separate forum, I find the "look what I've found" posts a step backwards. I really enjoyed looking through the different finds in one thread, without having to click on various posts...

For me, the perfect solution would be to keep the monthly finds thread and to let the new form of "DP's Roadshow" run it's course...

I know that I'm not the most active user on this board, but hey, some people might find a game for my 2 cents....

This is perfect for me but, of course, it won't let me use it. Any ideas why?

Cool to have it all down there in the Marketplace. I'd hope new memebers down the road know about it and jump over there to post finds instead of cluttering Classic Gaming.

This is a great idea, thanks!

I kind of like individual threads for finds. That way you can get some congratulatory response and a little interesting discussion about your new toy from people who already have one, as opposed to no one giving much of a damn in the one big thread. And we all like that, right?

When a new member signs up is it really clear to them that that should be done the marketplace, which doesn't open for 10 days, or is that in the forum rules/FAQ which on one reads?

That's what I thought too. Everybody likes a little recognition for a cool find :)

Can we sticky the 'FINDS' threads each month? It's the hottest thread in that board but it keeps floating around the page.

What needs to be stickied? Everyone gets their own finds thread.

I like it the way it is now for the same reason others have given. there's more flexibility to have a conversation over a specific find and not have other find conversation get in the way.

Agreed. The monthly thread should be stickied at the top. Have a unique / cool find you want to spark up some conversation with? Then post it in it's own thread below. What it comes down to is a LOT of us like the monthly finds thread. It makes more sense to have it up top so it doesn't get lost in the sea of individual threads.

I'm okay with that.

Another cool thing about the new forum is now someone doesn't have to appeal to the mods to make their own thread for a spectacular find. Sometimes it can be hard to make the call on what used to constitute a find that was worth its own thread.

Hi everyone! I picked up a vintage Atari Pong game by Sears Tele games. It's almost like new, still in original box and packing foam.

What I would like to know is, how do I connect it to my tv? I'd like to know if it works. Also, what's a good price for it if I decide to sell?

Thank you!

Is there a new August finds thread? Honestly, the finds thread & the import section are my favorite 2 areas of the DP site and the reasons that I keep coming back.

Right here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104370), needs a sticky though.
