What system do you want to know about?

You could compile a list from what's on the DP guide. Select North America releases and then highlight what systems you want and do a complete search, copy + paste every entry into a text file. Now do the same for Europe releases dealing with the same systems and throw it into another text file. Now parse the two files to contain lists of just game + system. Finally you can run a comparison command outputting what you want to screen, maybe forward it to a new text file and removing all North America entries. I could do it later tonight when I get home.

Europe has had a number of exclusives for the PSOne, but with very few exceptions (Vib Ribbon, Transport Tycoon, Little Big Adventure are three that I particularly enjoy), they are budget titles or fairly generic titles. There's Darxide on the 32X which is a great game, but very hard to find and Keio Flying Squadron II and Deep Fear for the Sega Saturn which are also good. Gamecube has Doshin the Giant and Neighbors From Hell which I like, but they're not for everyone. You're going to have issues playing PAL games unless you have a universal TV or monitor and a region free or PAL system with video converter. The Saturn and Gamecube are much easier than the PSOne or PS2 to do PAL imports. In fact, both just require an Action Replay or similar cart/disc to work. Having been to the UK and parts of Europe many times, I can tell you that just like here in the States, you're going to have an easier time finding obscure or good condition stuff on Ebay and most Ebay.UK users will ship worldwide and take Paypal if you ask.

As much as I loved Little Big Adventure, I've never been able to find much enjoyment in the PS1 port. It just runs so awful :(

Earth Defense Force got released in Europe as a budget title called, "Monster Attack". I believe the sequel was on tap to be released as well, but I really haven't been paying much attention (and I'm still bitter about them getting the first game).

Any, although preferably from the NES and onward.

Great idea, but then I would have no clue what games are any good or not. you shouldn't do it either, just because that'd be too much work for me to wish on anybody on my account.

I'm not worried about the region, but the TV can be a bit of a problem. I'll keep the games until I can play them, though. I'm not particularly looking for rare stuff, just fun stuff (if they fall into the same category though, I'll still ask if he can find them). Also, thanks for the games, you reminded me how much I've wanted to play Doshin ever since I found the trophy.

Pop'n Twinbee (http://www.vgden.com/sfc.htm?pop) only came out for the European Super Nintendo and Japanese Super Famicom. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it is a cool and cute shooter.
But as Bojay1997 said, you may have a hard time playing Pal games in the US...

Terranigma for SNES was never released in North America, and it's one of the best games on the system.

How could we forget Terranigma, that was amazing in too many ways.

Pop N Twinbee, I think anyway, is 1 of the best vertical shumps for the SNES, and little doubt the best in the Twinbee series.

Do you like horror games? You absolutely need to try Hellnight [AKA Dark Messiah in Japan], PS1.

I'm not sure about Monster Attack being released, i've never seen it but Global Defence Force (aka Chikyuu Boueigun 2) was finally released a couple of weeks ago. Also Global Defence Force Tactics was released last week. I'm backed up with games so i haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Tbh you'll be lucky to find many games bar PS2 titles as most game stores have stopped selling GC/Xbox and anything older. Do try to get Vib Ribbon though, it's aceness.

A lot of simple 2000 ps2 titles have come out in europe, most notably the already mentioned Earth Defense Force games, and Onechanbara.

j_factor, you're my hero. Thanks a lot.
I've already went though the Megadrive list and looked up the games and added which ones looked promising. I'll go through the other lists a little later (demos I'm not curious about though)
I knew about the Simple 2000 series releases though because of Hardcore Gaming 101's Splatterhouse review, and have been very curious to give them a try. Any clue if they're any good?

Many of them are, yeah. The Earth/Globabl Defense force games are AWESOME, and it's a crime that we don't get them here. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I'll definately have to try some of them out then. I have some import playstation game that lets you create your own Shoot 'Em Up that's supposed to be pretty good. I'm not going to be home for a couple of weeks and don't remember the name off the top of my head. I'm thinking about buying the DMS solderless modchip, anyone know if that's any good?

Sort of Soccer Kid meets Super Mario World with David Beckham. Don't mind the license, it's a great platformer.

I'd wager the opposite, considering Eddie Murphy isn't actually in the game.

On the PS2, you can basically throw in anything released by Phoenix Games (http://www.phoenixgamesgroup.com/uk/index.html) and Blast! (http://www.blast-games.com/en/default.asp). Not that any of them are worth actually playing. Phoenix Games releases are somewhere between Chinese bootlegs and straight parody of video games themselves.

I mean:
http://www.phoenixgamesgroup.com/images/packshots/whitevanracer.jpg (http://www.phoenixgamesgroup.com/uk/games/whitevanracer.html)

Also somewhere between one-third and one-half of the Japanese Simple 2000 library has been released in Europe, but in the US we've gotten...two.

Ah yes Phoenix games, the company profile on their site says "We boast the shortest time required from development to product release in the industry. Ordinarily the average development period for a game is 18 months, whereas Phoenix need a mere 3-5 months." but even three months seems like a lot compared to the quality of the games. Just take a look at these videos:

London Cab Challenge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk8qbSISQI4) (the biggest challenge is the draw distance)
Maniac Mole (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Arwkqsb9VmU)

Wasn't Choro Q3 released in the US as Road Trip: Adventure Avenue?

@topic:
I'd also wholeheartedly recommened Monster Attack and Global Defence Force (Global Defence Force Tactics is also awesome in its own kind of way, though you have to be able to overlook 16bit style graphics and have a soft spot for turn-based hex strategy games).

Btw not every PAL game has been released in every european country, the market is more divided than the NA one.
Monster Attack has only been released in Germany and Global Defence Force only in the UK.
It's also worthy of note that both don't feature an optional 60Hz mode, which means you'd have to rip the games and patch the ISOs to NTSC if you want to play them in full screen and full speed 60Hz (I've tested GDF and it works fine after applying the patch).
Some modchips are able to force PAL games into 60Hz mode, but I don't know any details, as I use a Swap Set.

PS: You should also look out for The Firemen, an awesome action game for SNES.
