Just thought I'd get everyone up to speed on the swap room and how it works since this is a relatively new feature of CGE.
As many of you may remember the swap meet was usually held prior to the auction in the speaker room and usually lasted an hour while we registered the auction items. A couple of years ago, we decided to set up a swap room that was seperate from the main floor and operated all day long.
The swap room is for you to bring all of your unwanted merchandise for trade, sale, etc. We charge a nominal fee of $5 per hour for a single table. After your hour is up, you can pay again or move on out. All money collected for the swap room will go to charity, this year the Las Vegas Salvation Army.
Feel free to kick in an extra few bucks if you do a brisk business but that's all we require. The swap room will run only during show hours. It's a great way to unload some extra stuff without being tied down to a table or booth all day.
So empty those closets and bring your goodies!
