This guy's clearly selling a burned CD-R.. I sent him a message saying you can't sell these on ebay, and that I would report him if he was to list any more.. And I recieve a response saying the following..

You can have the negative feedback he left you removed pretty easily once you report it. People have done this to me, and the feedback never lasts more than a day.

Well, now that he's bid on one of your auctions, you can easily get his name, address and phone number... Why don't you accidentally share that info with us... :) (Or does his fake account have bogus info? Having to sign up with a credit card on Ebay now makes that harder to do...)

He's selling a 'way to get girls to like you' for 1 cent to build up his feedback. He used another ID to buy 4 or 5 of these and leave himself pos feedback... Little does he realize that only 1 feedback from any one ID counts against your feedback score... Idiot.

Yet another reason to have separate accounts for buying and for selling. That way you can use your buying account to send messages & questions such as the one that you did, without running the risk of revenge being taken on your own auctions.

It's not worth it to send guys like this messages. What did you really think he was going to do? Apologize and take down his auctions? He clearly knew what he was doing. Just report guys like this and move on. Let eBay do or not do their thing and be done with it.

I agree. If you really felt the need to report the guy then you should have just done so. All emailing him was going to accomplish was to let him know WHO reported him. Hopefully you won't have more problems from this guy down the road

I'm planning on calling him up acting as a rep from Sega, and asking him about reports of him selling counterfeit games through E-bay. I'm going to read his address off to him, and possibly tell him that the authorities are on the way. If more than one person is planning on messing with this guy, lets all collaborate on this, if he gets more than one shit call he's gonna know somethings not right, and that he's being messed with.
