How do you remove sticker residue from discs?

So I got a used Xbox game today and the trader didn't mention that there are stickers everywhere, one of which is on the disc. I peeled most of it off but there is the white sticky residue I can't get off. I know not to use remover because I tried that before on another disc and it cracked into pieces within a minute.

Wd-40 will get it off in a jiffy.

Spray it on your finger and rub it on the residue and clean off with a paper towell.

Wipe clean with water or windex if a little oil is left over.
