View Full Version : Leave Saturday night, or stick around to Monday?

Looks like I may be going to CGE this year after all, assuming all the finances work out. Question is, is there a reason to stick around past 6PM on Sunday and leave around 9PM, or stay until Monday afternoon?

Are any of you fellows doing anything Sunday night or will be hanging around then or Monday morning?

I need to book my flight ASAP, so I'd appreciate any responses :)

Your topic title says Saturday night but your post implies you were planning to stay until Sunday night.

If you're thinking about leaving Saturday night you're nuts! You definitely don't want to miss the auction and I have a feeling the DP after-party is going to be the best yet. Missing those would be most unfortunate. Leaving just after them probably dangerous to your health.

Now if it's Sunday night you're planning to depart, that's another story. I know that myself and most of the CGE crew are unavailable. We have to break down, take trips back and forth to storage, and traditionally "chill out" for a quiet late dinner. That isn't to say I wouldn't show up somewhere very late if there was something going on, but to date there hasn't been any organized get-together that late (or at least one I was invited to).

Hope this helps - and it will be cool to hang with you outside of NAVA!

One thing I found when booking flights is that Sunday night flights back home were already GONE as of a little over a week ago. So the decision may already have been made for you if you haven't booked your travel arrangements yet. :p

Darn, I can't edit my title! Yeah, I meant leaving Sunday night. Cost wise is about the same; I just wanted to see if any atendees planned on hanging out on Sunday night.

I figure that since the cost is about the same either way, I might just stay until Monday afternoon night.

Would I be able to lend a hand in helping you fellows pack up on Sunday?

Not only that but you'll be helping the cause as mentioned in another thread that we're short on room nights at the Riviera.

Thanks for your help,
John

West Coast? Vegas? Um, the coast is like 400 miles from Vegas. :)

First time in the west, however, that'll be pretty cool for you. It'll be a completely different experience from what you are used to.
