Long Shot: Anyone want to skate Vegas CGE weekend?

Almost everywhere I travel, I skateboard at the local parks and shop the local thrifts.

I'm not planning on shopping Las Vegas- I rarely do hit the thrifts or fleas in Vegas anymore when I go to CGE, but I'd love to hit some local skateparks for an hour or two at night. They have some good concrete parks in Vegas and I'm pretty good at getting around places I don't live in and setting up a mini-park tour. I bring a helmet so I can skate parks that require that.

If you have a car, great. If you are serious and don't have a car, I'd consider renting one for the purpose of hitting a few parks Sat night, maybe Friday. I would prefer to skate with skateboarders, but if you can skate parks using fruit boots, I'll be happy to have some classic gaming company to hit the parks with.

I can't be responsible for your imminent death if you don't know what you're doing at a skatepark.

I wish I could skate better. I'd totally be into that. Unfortunately anything other than skating in a straight line on flat ground is out for me. Plus everyone would laugh at me 'cus my skateboard is from the 80's. See you in a few days.

80s sk8brds rULe! I have an informal old skool board collection. But not much 80s stuff, side from the old Gonz and Natas decks I kept since I was a kidlet.

Yeah today's skateparks might just mean death for you. I've just learned to ride them in the last 5 or so years.

Damn dude, I can't believe I am missing CGE this year- if you go next year, id love to hit up some Vegas skate parks with you.

I actually film and make movies for a local skateboard shop in Ottawa. I've been doing it for about 5 years now. I actually suck at the actual act of skateboarding (too much time behind the camera), even though I've technically been skating for 10 years now.
If you search Will Bowins (my name) on Youtube, you can see some of the stuff I've made.
But yeah, I'm not bringing my board down to Vegas. It would be cool to do, though.
