This is awesome. I only got to play this on MAME. Kickass.
Played it in the arcades and in mame as well.

Good news for, 360 owners though any body that likes run'n'guns games should try it.

Btw all ways liked the intro too on super contra.

I find Contra 3: Alien Wars for SNES to be the best IMO.

I'll be honest.

I hate Super Contra. Hate hate hate hate hate it. I played Super C first and enjoyed it a lot more due to the fixes they made to the engine; the one thing that I really can't stand about Super Contra is the way you have to keep a direction pressed for a little while to actually point to where you want to shoot (try shooting while walking, and press up-right on your stick; the gun won't point up-right immediately.)

But, I tried it again on MAME a bit ago. And it's not that bad once you get used to the crappy gun pointing thing.

They should release this game along with Contra in a two-pack for a lower price now that they have the series on XBox Live.

Depends who you ask some love it some hate it.

Still super contra is one of my favorites from the serise.

Oh and i do "perfer the arcade version more compare to the nes version.

Sure it's short but i like the way it plays more.. compare to the nes one.

I really do not like WC controls and how you have to fight in a 2-D plane. I prefer full 3-D control and it just feels weird to me.

Wing Commander is okay, it reminds me of a cross between Galaga w/ a deathmatch mode, and Asteroids. I do like the Asteroid mode.

If you want a game like the real wing commander, you'd be better off buying Project Sylpheed. (I'm gonna plug the living hell out of that game! ;) )

Super Contra is still hard as holy hell. I can't even get past the first stage.

I bought wing commander arena, I was alittle dissapointed with the controls (heres a tip, if you fight someone in a large slow ship, pick a small one as they cant turn fast enough to even see you on their screen). The left joystick is for all the moving and aiming and right joystick is for barrel rolling (slight strafe) and some evasive dodges (some ships work better than others).

16 players online is quite fun but I still am learing to get good at the controls. There are TONS of ships to pilot though (18 I believe) and they all have a mix of different weapons and stats.

As for super contra, I dont think I'm buying that.
