I was dusting off the shelves and found some games with no plastic cart, just the board. They say SEGA on the front, and have labels. One says "Soccer", while the other says "Paperboy 2". But I don't know anything about these, so I'm asking you to help ID them. They're probably just Genesis games, but they won't fit in the system. The other thing is that they both have switches on them that say ON and OFF, with SW next to them, and by the bottom, they say this: ON:IM OFF:256. And they're bigger than most games. Here's a badly drawn picture:

Sorry I don't have real pics. I'll see if I can get some soon. But based on this, does anyone have any idea what they are? I ask here because they can't fit in a Genesis cart, so they must be something different.

I remember seeing these things around years ago. I always assumed it was just special packaging stores used for pre-played games.

Packaging? How is a game's circut board packaging?

Super SOnic, those sound like Game Gear prototype carts.

Wow, you're right! Thanks a ton. But I don't really know if they work well. See, the GG is having trouble and seems to only be able to play for a few seconds. But I know they work. Think they're worth anything?
