Picked this up yesterday at the Goodwill. It's practically new in the box, with all inserts, manual and the plastic bag still on the game.
I checked the current and completed listings on ebay and couldn't find a complete copy to compare it to.
Any rough ideas on the value of this game?

Well, this one is a USA version for sure. The code on the actual game is CGB-ALQE-USA.
Though now that you mentioned that, I also picked up at the same store a CIB Asterix sur la trace d'idefix, which has all French packaging. This was the other Game Boy Color game I picked up with the Lucky Luke.

Thought that was a GB monochrome only release.

Wonder if they were meant to be French-Canadian releases. Lots of "USA" games these days are also tagged for sale in Mexico and Latin America, so could that be the case here?

I bought Lucky Luke off my Indy game stores shelves a number of years ago (right after the GBA came out actually). It wasn't a french-canadian import or anything, just a normal standard US release.
They did do a PS game also, but since its an unknown license here, I doubt that either of them did all that well.
My guess is that its worth 5-10, but I honestly don't know.
