Hopefully you have at least 2 or 3, just PM me with a price.

I decided I want to collect as many of these as possible along with the rest of my NES games.

Heh, I'm doing this as well, though I'm only collecting them passively. How many do you have so far? I think I have around 10 or so. I bet there are folks out there that have accumulated a ton...

I've got around 10 at last count, with a few more coming from eBay now. Not sure on the exact number currently though due to some NES systems I sold recently and threw in a copy.

Definitely 5-10, which is unfortunately not enough.

Just curious, what are yall saving them for?

Just to collect. Something else specific to obtain other than all NES games.

I could get like 30 or so copies at Cashopolish my second hand electronic store. I see the collection they have already. I think they sell them for 99 cents each. These things are dust collecters...but worth every penny.

I wish I could find so many locally at 99 cents a pop.

Yes, you can avoid them. As every copy I've ever found was too expensive I eventualy gave up and just bought the games seperatly.

To the buyer, I wish you luck in this. Think your a bit crazy but as this is a collectors site, I think everyone's a bit nuts as well. Myself included.

I used to have a bunch of copies but they were mainly used for NES systems I sold on Ebay or to help "pad" NES lots. There is no reason to sell an NES system on Ebay without throwing in a copy of SMB/DH. Just like there is no reason to sell a huge lot of NES games on Ebay without throwing in 3-4 copies of SMB/DH.

Get a bunch and build a house. Might be cheaper than lumber.

Collect enough, and they might become "rare" enough that our copies' values will skyrocket!

I have a box that I've always thrown copies in that have accumulated through flea market and yard sale bulk buys. I should count them but I would assume that I have at least 40.

There's a topic about this over on NintendoAge. Check out some of the pics!

I always considered buying as many as possible and then destroying them. What would the value of the very last cart be?

oh, and by the way battymo. That picture doesn't have a single super mario/duck hunt cart in it. They are all in boxes. :)

It would take millions of dollars, thousands of hours, and a huge warehouse to corner the market of Mario/Duckhunt carts :)

I got a good story on cornering the market :)

I can't believe a couple of you are suggesting that'd work. No matter how many SMB/DH carts you acquire, the fact is that everyone who actually wants a copy to play already has one. There is no demand out there whatsoever for Mario/Duck Hunt. There is a big difference between cornering the market on a game everyone already owns versus cornering it for some high priced game for anything from the Saturn-era or before that fanboys jerk off at night over.

I've seen pictures of tables and chairs made out of smb/dh carts.

I'll get ahold of you sometime in August, I just got a new car today so funds just dropped a bit.

Definitely going to order quite a bit though.

I'll either PM here or Nintendo Age when I'm ready.

Yep, I really think someone needs to make a massive fort out of those carts.
Like the one at the end of the SMB levels :D
