I normally hate these kinds of games but I really enjoyed Record of Lodoss War.

Skies of Arcadia, Evolution 1 & 2, Grandia 2, Shenmue, Sword of the Berserk, Silver, Headhunter(Hard To Find), Tomb Raider series, Seaman, Half-life(HTF), and every DC owner MUST have Soul Calibur! These, and many more, should be played before you retire your Dreamcast to the closet of "no-time-to-have-fun-anymore".

For good RPG:

Grandia II
Skies of Arcadia

For something of complete difference and spin on genre, try:

Armada

I've never played it, but Time Stalkers sounded pretty good as I recall.

People seem to dump on it a lot, but it kept me entertained, at least. If you're a fan of Dark Cloud and its ilk, it's pretty much like that.

The Xbox and Gamecube versions have much more content though, most important being offline splitscreen and extra episodes. I'll admit back in the day though it was THE BEST, but there are better versions to be had now, especially since online no longer works.

The Dreamcast version does have one unique thing about it though that the other versions don't. When you die you drop your money and your weapon "which you can retrieve", it made online games more interesting to me cause you definetely didn't want to die. :D NOOOOOO MY STING TIP!!!!

I second Grandia 2 and i'll add "Silver" to the list.

Silver was almost kinda like Xmen Legends, but with more rpg elements. A very different interesting game, I recommend it for the sheer fact that it's different, it's not the best, but it was interesting enough to beat.

Hated the game. I played it for about 5 hours and didn't feel like I was trying to accomplish anything. Mindless dungeon crawler if you ask me.

Stupid Invaders was a decent, but very short point-and-click style adventure.

alot of people seem to like this game. maybe i'm playing it wrong but i really don't care for it. its kinda dull and repetative. i'm pretty far into it and starting to find it way to hard. maybe I'm being clueless with the weapon level thing and its gimping me.

Shenmue was a great adventure game, apparently.

oh, I didn't see the vote for Armada. I'll second that.

I also have to nominate both Shenmue and Silver. Shenmue, however, is caveat emptor - if you really fall in love with it (like so many have) be prepared of the let down of never knowing how it will end - Shenmue III is scheduled to come out sometime after Duke Nukem Forever.

I could be the only one, but I liked SOUL FIGHTER.

Half-life(HTF)

Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that it was never commercially released?

Ecco the Dolphin - Defender of the Future
Elemental Gimmick Gear

Seconding Elemential Gimmick Gear, i didn't even expect it to be mentioned here. Very under-rated game, I wish they'd make another for DS or something.

Does Illbleed count as "adventure"? If so then that's a cool game (fucking hard though). Shenmue is also seconded like crazy. You might also try Headhunter if you don't mind PAL.

Yeah, never really saw the light of day. Its not too hard to find if you know where to look though (i.e. Bittorrent).:villagepeople:

Phantasy Star Online kept me busy for a long, long time...
Time Stalkers was actually alot of fun, so give that a shot.

I know alot of people didn't care for my next choice, and that's just fine. It's a shooter/adventure game that I had a LOAD of fun with. Actually, it's my favorite Dreamcast game.....BLUE STINGER. I know alot of people will scoff and mock the game, but it was just flat out fun.

My favorites that I've played:
Phantasy Star Online
Silver
Grandia II
Skies of Arcadia
Record of Lodoss War
Sword of the Berzerk: Guts' Rage
Evolution: The World of Sacred Device
Evolution 2: Far Off Promise

Time Stalkers was alright but nothing to dump money on and go out of your way for.

I've seen alot of noted RPG's. Which i'll get one I get my DreamCast, but now for Adventure games? Anything like Zelda, or Mario on dreamcast? Not Sonic..

Gamingking - Elemential Gimmick Gear is similar to Zelda.

NCN - Give Illbleed a try, it's by the same dev team as Blue Stinger, there's even a reference to Blue stinger in it...i won't ruin the surprise.
