So I was rummaging through my stuff getting ready to move and decided to check the prices on a few old Dos games. One of them which I never really cared about looks like it went for $110 recently on ebay. Jeez! I thought my complete Ultima I was my rarest dos game but maybe not. Heres the one in question:

The Crimson Crown

Now I'm debating to sell it or not. My Ultima I has been framed so I'm not going to sell that. I wonder what my complete copy of the very rare Infocom game Fooblitzky would go for.

Its complete but it has been opened. I know it won't fetch the $110 because of that but I bet it would still fetch a good price. One thing that confuses me though is he lists everything included in the box but no where on the box does it say whats inside. Unless he has a second copy.

are really hit and miss. I've seen some go for prices in the hundreds and then the same game a few weeks later go for next to nothing in better condition. I have seen Crimson Crown go for between $25 and $50 in mint condition over the past few years. Not sure what yours would go for. Good luck.

So this is less of a "talk about prices of DOS games" and more of a "What's it worth?" (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=37) inquiry ;)

Well, good luck on the auction, if you decide to get rid of it. eBay generally gives you as much as you're likely to ever get on those games.

Some people really like their text adventures. Never heard of this one. Sell it if your not going topursue your collection of PC Games, optherwise don't because it would be tough to replace.

I'm pretty sure that this game was a sequel to the game Transylvania which was a really fun game back in the Apple II days. It was made by Penguin Games who later changed their name to Polarware because Penguin books sued them over it.

It's up! This is a big step for me... I've never sold a game before that I didn't already have doubles of.
