Pleas god, let it be true....

This has been on my 'games that desperately need a sequel' list for almost 2 decades now. But it has to be a sqeuel to the NES version, not the arcade version.

It also seems weird that BC is almost a 20 year old franchise...

I'm praying it's a DS release, but I'd be happy with PSP or PS2 as well. I just hope it's either 2D or 2.5D. A 3D movement game featuring the grappling hook would be cool, but I can't help but think the environments would be large and barren because of it.

I loved the intro and ending to BC NES with the narrative from Super Joe (of Commando fame). One of the best NES endings, imo. I think it's very cool that the "sequel" if you can call it that of Commando was BC. I never realized it until now, but the overhead scenes are atribute to that.

If this happens, may we only hope that Super Joe will still be part of the story along with Ladd (whatever his name was).

I think a DS or 360/PS3 version are the more likely candidates.

Even though the Wii could be crazy "waggle control" with the grappling hook couldnt it?
