For your favorite console when they were current. Those of you with current consoles can name existing arcade games, and the like.

The only requirements for everyone else is that there had to have been a reasonable possibility of the game actually appearing. Tempest for the 5200 and Tunnels and Trolls or Wild Western for the ColecoVision are examples.

For me:

5200:

Tempest.

Super Pac-Man.

Millipede.

Gravitar.

Space Duel.

Red Baron.

Maybe a small collection of 1970s arcade games by Atari.

ColecoVision:

Wizard of Wor.

Tunnels and Trolls.

Wild Western.

Cosmic Alien.

SNAP JACK.

Zoar.

Blue Print. (This is stretching it a bit...)

Phaser Patrol.

5200 Tempest would have to be on my list, too.

In the "not so classic" department I'd have to go with Shenmue 3 on the Dreamcast... or any system for that matter.

To this day I still want to see the game "The Lost" Probably the most fitting name since it was supposed to be released for PS, but never was.

Because somebody has to say it:

Bio Force Ape on NES

NES:

-Hellraiser
-Garfield (got kept in Japan, I guess?)
-Mortal Kombat (popped up in EGM once or twice saying it was planned or at least being thought about)
-Super Mario 4/Super Mario World (also mentioned in EGM, they said it would a watered down port but it'd have been cool to play on an NES)

N64:

-Resident Evil 1 or 3 (the system got two so why not a super-late and enhanced port of the first one or a port of the third game)
-Resident Evil Zero (that was the title of the one that got scrapped, wasn't it?)

ATARI JAGUAR:

-Mortal Kombat 3

DREAMCAST:

-Half Life (I think I got my Dreamcast around the time it was cancelled)

Dreamcast - Panzer Dragoon Saga, Half Life

That would be some real nice eye-candy there.

Aussie2B:
Bio Force Ape did come out. Actually, wasn't it sold at CGE 2007 in the auction?

I dont remember the name of the title but it was for the Sega Dreamcast. Anywho the game was a air-plane dog fighting game I believe then September 11th happened and it got caned.

yea Propeller Arena was the game I was talking about. Man I wish it would of came out still. I just remember being excited about it for a while, and I read that it was finished but they were going to wait to release it because 9-11 then nope no Propeller Arena.

I think a Saturn or Dreamcast port of the arcade Alien vs. Predator would have done the game justice.

Resident Evil 1.5

Atari 5200:
Crazy Climber
Black Widow

The 5200's controller's would've been perfect for both of those games, which is proven by the fact of how well they worked with Space Dungeon and Robotron.

I don't care for what console, but all I want is Shenmue III :(

I also would have liked to get Rondo of Blood on SNES, even if it is coming over to PSP now, it would have been great to have the original then.

Metal Gear 2, as mentioned above would have been nice.

Really hoped for Rent a Hero vol. 1 to appear on the Xbox here in the states.

Alas, no such luck...

Black Tiger on the NES. I remember seeing a few prototype screenshots and it listed on a Capcom poster, but as far as I know it never materialized in any form on the ol grey box. Thankfully the arcade version came out on the Capcom Classics Collections, and I bought both of the ones that had it :)

As were numerous games in this thread. A proper release would have been much better, especially for Half Life since it has major save issues.

Xbox - Dronez (I could still import it, I guess)
Xbox - Armada 2 (online Armada.... :) )
Dreamcast - Propeller Arena
Dreamcast - Planet of the Apes (they talked about this game since launch, it never came)
Dreamcast - Shenmue 2 & 3 (this game really belongs on the DC, not the Xbox - I wish they'd released the American version on the DC)
Dreamcast - Rez (This game should've been released on the DC, in the US, as well)

Second on Armada 2 - on Xbox, PS2, or Gamecube

Other wished-for releases:
Impossible Mission 2025 - SNES or Genesis
Starcraft: Ghost - on any platform :)

Xbox 360:

-Crazy Taxi IV (seriously, this game needs to have another sequel! It would be awesome playing this game with next-gen graphics!)

Gamecube:

-Burnout 3: Takedown and Burnout Revenge (why EA didn't release these on the Gamecube is a complete mystery to me, as Burnout 1 and 2 were on the Gamecube, and they were really good....I guess EA realized that GCN versions of these games would not sell too good....It would have been nice to see these games on here, because they were also on the PS2/Xbox.)
-Another WWE game (like Day of Reckoning 3 or something): THQ pulled the plug way too early on the Gamecube, as their last wrestling game was WWE Day of Reckoning 2 in 2005. In my opinion, they should have at least released one more game for the system in 2006, but instead, they didn't.

PC:

-Halo 2 (on Windows XP, not Vista)

Dreamcast:

-Half Life (it was practically done!)
-Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Could have been possible, due to the fact that the Dreamcast still had games coming out for it in 2001. If only the system lasted a few more months...remember, THPS3 was a launch title for the Gamecube in 2001.)
-X-Men vs Street Fighter (I don't believe a Dreamcast version was ever made of this game...)
-Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter
-Capcom vs SNK 2 (it was released in Japan, but never made it over here in the US...would have been great to play it on the Dreamcast, not the PS2)
-Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller (again, totally possible on the Dreamcast...maybe they would have to remove some lighting effects, etc., but the game would definitely work on the system. Too bad it was only released on the Xbox.)

I had always wished the made the Eternal Champions game for Sega Saturn, the whole reason I bought the damn thing back then.
