I found this complete binder of VIC-20 games and wondered what they are like? Are they very simple games programmed in Basic or something? I don't currently have a VIC-20 tape drive so if anyone wants these shoot me a PM.

Yeah most of them are fairly simple, but a few are interesting to play.

Actually, some of those games on tape can be surprisingly good.

Our elementary school had vic-20's and some of the kids would bring in game tapes, during computer friday's. One kid had a scramble clone that was quite good.

And they can be made in either BASIC or machine language. Most were BASIC, though...

I'm confused. It says 20, but I was only able to spot 19 games on that list. Am I reading it correctly? Nice find, though.

Wow sharp eye..........

I just checked the instructions and they left out this game from the cover:

Senorita: The object of this game is to rescue the senorita from the blazing building before the fire reaches up to her.

I have the same binder of games. And I do have a Vic-20 to play them on. But I haven't given them a try yet. Too many other games to play.

Tape games in general, yes, but when they're collected in a 20-in-1, I'd expect something like Cassette 50 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassette_50)...
