In the auction description it says he bought 6 from a guy at a flea market. And yet he has 10 up for auction. Why oh Why must people lie. >:( And we know where he got them for $29.99 , but why must he flood the market all at once. >)

What's wrong with that?
You don't want the price to go lower? Sounds like a good thing to me.

I'm a collector and a seller , of course I don't want the price to go lower. They were going for $70-100 . And now idiots decide to flood the market. What the hell for? Just list them one at a time and you'll still get top dollar. This is ridiculous. x_x This guy is a game seller , he should know better.

I agree, stupid on his part. I was wondering how soon it would be before the sealed copies found their way onto ebay. Bam, three seperate auctions at once from different sellers, all set too high at the starting bid, no one bit. :D

How can you be pissed off at this seller in this case for selling 10 at a time? Sure, he probably could have gotten more if he sold them one by one but if you're upset because the ones you have at home are rapidly loosing value shouldn't you be blaming Capcom instead for re-releasing the game?

i bought 2 with the plan of selling them in a couple years. i knew everyone would get these and sell em, and of course the price will drop, but in time less people will be selling them, especially sealed, and the price will go back up.

I'm all for that, but in the process bits of his busted head end up spattering on other collector/sellers like my good man jonjandran.

I agree that the price will go back up to some degree. But now that the game is being released for GBA (and so, via Gameboy Player, for GCN as well), do you think that the game will go for $70+ again?
I wonder this because I'm not sure how many buyers are shelling out as collectors versus as people who just want to play it. After all, it's a really good game. But then, the people buying to play will unseal it, so sealed copies WILL get rarer, so I dunno.
Of course, I guess it's possible that the GBA version will get a short run, too...
Oh, yeah--videogamedepot was selling sealed cracked-box copies of the Saturn version for $10.
