I mean I'll believe it when I see it, but damn.
New Shenmue, two new Space Channel 5s, and a new Fighters Megamix? If sega wanted to stop sucking, that's a good start.

Something tells me not to get my hopes up, but if that Shenmue 3/Shenmue 1 & 2 Plus announcement is happening, I'm all over that like stink on shit.

Korean? I'd find this a little more reliable if it was in Japanese. What does anybody in Korea know about the Tokyo Game Show in Japan? o_O

QFT!
This at least shows they are trying. Shenmue 1@2 plus? I may have a reason to buy a 360 after all. Once they get the new units out that is. :D

I thought so too.
Also, Shenmue had the most expensive game development in history, and Shenmue II had poor US sales (why Xbox and not Dreamcast?). I can't say for certain, but I don't think Sega could afford to publish a finale (back in the day) so they dropped it. Now, Sega-Sammy might afford to do something about it; however, the cult following of this game perpetuates that continuous stream of pesky rumors, so it is difficult to tell.

Does anyone know (or care) whether ALL or ANY of those games are scheduled for release outside Japan? Or is that a list of North American releases?
G-Boobie, out.

For everyone clamoring for a new Shenmue, do yourselves (and everyone else) a favor and pick up Yakuza (and its sequel when it comes out in the US & EU). The series has a few similarities to Shenmue while still being a fairly unique game. Exploration area is much larger but slightly less detailed, combat is closer to Spikeout, much less family-safe, etc. Well worth looking into and who knows, maybe they will make a third game on PS3 and maybe they'll localize that sucker for people that don't read moonspeak.
This thread has inspired me to fire up Shenmue again at least! Forgotten how rough the control was and, more noticeably, how loud the Dreamcast is.

This list just really shows off how awesome Sega once was, and how much they suck ass now. I would kill for most of these games listed, I really hope this is true.

agreed
I saw this yesterday on a couple sites but thought it to be BS.
Also Sega Sammy hasnt been doing so well $$$ so I would be even more surprised if they went full on into developing a REAL Shenmue 3.
It is Sega though so you never know.
I hope Sega Classics Collection 2 happens.
How about a Sega Genesis Collection Vol.2? maybe on Blue Ray PS3? could u imagine ALL THE GAMES and extra features they could pack onto one BR disc?

With XBLA, PSN, and Virtual Console...the days of retro compilations are long gone. We will never see one released for the latest generation of consoles. It makes more sense financially to make $5-10 per downloadable title than $20 for 20 titles on a disc. Game companies have seen the potential $$$, and will never go back.

You could fit every single Genesis game released in the US/EU/and JPN uncompressed on a single layer DVD. Twice.
I'd just be happy if they bundled up 10 more of those Sega Ages 2500 titles for the US. Hook us up with Virtua Fighter 2, Last Bronx, Fighting Vipers, motherfucking Gain Ground, Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box, and Dynamite Deka... oh, and Panzer Dragoon please.
Update: Still bummed we didn't get Gain Ground on Sega Classics Collection :(

Yes I realize that but I was also thinking of all of the EXTRAS they could include like classic genny commercials soundtracks etc.
and about the downloadable stuff ; I dont really enjoy "downloadable content" especially if its a complete game.
Call me a dinosaur or whatever you want but I still like to have physical copies of my games if at all possible.

Considering how badly Sonic went downhill, how good can one expect a new entry in any of those old series to be?
And what are they doing developing a Happy Tree Friends game? Surely it can't be this Happy Tree Friends (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Tree_Friends).
And are they going to release the new Typing of the Dead in North America?

IIRC Shenmue 3 was officially canceled. Read it in a magazine (GI I think) about a month ago.

It's safe to say that there is no such thing as official news when it comes to Shenmue 3 at this point in time.

Hmm...
I am a VF nut, and this caught my eye...
Virtua Fighter 5 (Xbox 360, PS3)
I thought VF5 had been out on ps3 for awhile with plans already in the making for 360 (there is a preview for it on ign for 360).
I want this list to be true, but they will showcase a ps3 game that is out?
I hope for the love of god this is true. I also love JSR and saw Jet Set Radio Next (Xbox 360, PS3)
Some games make sense that they will show, cuz we all know that they are already coming out (Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS))
I guess we will have to wait and see, and wonder if this list is true, what they will be showcasing for a game that is already out (unless they are simply just showing VF5 and having it not console specific through game trailers or something)

This was my thought also.
I find this list to be over the top. It seems like Sega has finally decided to bring out sequels to every game that people have wanted them to for the last 5 years. If something's too good to be true it probably is and this list is way too good to be true(but let's hope I'm wrong)

I guess I'm the only one who weeps over Sega's future.
They haven't put out a good game in a while. Nothing of Sega calibur, anyway.
I'm scared that NiGHTS for the Wii will blow. I bought (Wii) Alien Syndrome this weekend, and they really could've done alot more with it. It's not a horrible game, but it feels so incomplete. Not to mention they didnt include the original arcade game with it...
Edit: Condemned had promise, but it was a bit on the short side. Lets hope they make Condemned 2 a little longer.

While Yakuza had a good story, its gameplay was terrible. It also had some terrible visuals [non-cutscenes], an overuse of the word "fuck," and way, way too many random battles. It was really, really rough around the edges.

The localization was pretty bad and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that thought that the profanity wasn't completely overdone. On everything else, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, because I felt the visual design was really solid, the combat was excellent, and the random encounter rate (while high) never got in the way of the fun (because of how great the combat was).
Even with the massive amounts of misplaced profanity (seriously, how many times can you cram the word "fuck" in a single sentance?), it wasn't nearly the audio atrocity that Shenmue was. Good lord is that game painful to listen to. Thank god you can turn off the voices.
I really hope they handle the localization of Yakuza 2 better, especially if the word of mouth regarding the across-the-board improvements pan out. Good lord am I pumped for that game.
