I was thinking of thinning out my promos and came across these Zelda promos. The promotional copy of 4 swords came with the rolled note and the 4 swords letter opener holder. The letter opener (sword) is missing but its here somewhere. The scroll is from the Gamecube game and while the majority of these are very rare the watch might be a common promo. I'm not sure where the watch came from. Ohh yeah and then the DS trailer which is also pretty common as it was an E3 promo item.

Wow. I am always amazed at the stuff you come up with. That scroll is very rare and cool. The only one I ever saw before went for over $300 if I remember correctly. If you decide to sell anything especially the letter opener I would be very interested. Definitely some nice stuff there

The scroll is pretty cool. I have another which is boxed but its mia right now. Was the $300 one boxed or loose?

The letter opener is just a plain looking sword that goes into that rock. I know its here somewhere. I collected 3 of those as I was trying to get 4 for the 4 swords effect but never did.

I also have that Mask from the Nintendo Power Majoras mask contest but that must be buried good as I haven't seen it in along time.

Whats the deal with the watch? Is that a common Eb games promo item?

I'm not sure if it was boxed or loose. It was on ebay probably about a year or so ago. I believe the person selling it said he won it in an EGM contest or some other magazines contest or something like that. But that was the only time I saw one and I usually try to keep a look out for certain promos, especially Zelda stuff. That mask sounds really cool as well.

I think some store gave the watch out but I seem to remember hearing someone say one time that you could buy them somewhere so I am really not sure. There is also another version of Link standing that uses the title Zelda 64 on it

I don't think I have that other watch but can't say for sure. I just found my Link bobble head but thats a common one. I see a promo Zelda coin on ebay from time to time what was that from? I don't think I have one of those.

Is it a Twilight Princess coin you're talking about? There is a silver one that has a holographic sticker thing on it that was a preorder bonus at Zellers in Canada or there is the pewter colored one with the Triforce on one side and the game logo on the reverse that was originally given out at San Diego Comic Con a few years back but was also sold at the Nintendo World Store in NY.

Very nice. I've seen the scroll on ebay a few times, but not in the last few years. It went for 150+ every time. The letter opener I haven't seen go for alot, maybe 20-50. Are you willing to sell the twilight princess DS trailer? I was meaning to pick one of those up but never did.

If you do sell I'd be interested in the scroll and the letter opener (assuming you find the sword)...

The Zelda coin was indeed from Comicon, 2005 if I recall, as I got one from a mate who went there...

What are the coins worth?

What are the coins worth?

They used to go for about $30-$40 but I haven't seen one recently to know what the current value is. I can't see them going for any less than $20 though.

I paid $20 for mine, which I think was under what eBay was having them for at the time.

Has anyone seen the rock letter opener up for sale? originally it came with the rolled up note and the game wrapped in green paper. So it may have been listed seperate or in a lot.

I've seen the letter opener listed without the sword. It only drew 1 or two bids and ended near the listing price, in the 20s or 30s.

I've bid on a few of the rock letter openers but never won one though. None ever came with the letter or the game though that I have seen. I usually just got outbid in the mid $30s for just the rock and sword.

The letter opener is the sword.

The letter opener is the sword.

Well yeah, I don't think opening a letter with a fat rock would work too well. Since it sticks in the rock I consider the rock to be part of the letter opener.

Seen some of the items, others never. Those are some very cool items. When you do list them for sale, I too would be interested. Have a pretty decent promo zelda collection myself. The only two things I have there are the more common pieces (the DS E3 demo cart and the letter opener w/ holder.

I have personally never seen that watch before. Probably not worth too much as it is something lame like a cheap watch, but is definitely fairly rare. Would be interesting to see what some of these pull.

While we are on the subject of zelda promo items, anyone know the story behind the zelda ocarina of time letter opener? I bought that zelda promo OOT bundle from that guy a while back minus the autographed bag (never understoof the infatuation with autographs). Its fairly heavy and appears official. Can post pics if anyone has no idea what I am talking about.

I think the DS trailer usually goes for $100 -150 on ebay.

I assumed the watch was a common item given away at stores but there is a chance its a rare promo. I don't recall where it came from but some promos have very low print runs 20-50 (like the scroll). If thats the case with this one then it should be worth a pretty penny as Zelda collectors can get nuts.

Really I don't know when I'll sell this stuff. I go back and forth. Somedays I think about selling the doubles others I want to sell the whole collection but the next day I'm buying more?!!?

I'm a lost cause.
