Looking at a pic from RetrowareTV (http://www.retrowaretv.com/home/DesktopModules/Gallery/Viewer.aspx?tabid=54&mid=372&path=CGE%202007&currentitem=31&mode=&zoomindex=3&rotate=0&flipx=0&flipy=0&color=0), I see what looks like it could be a new game. Not the special bundle of Intellivision Rocks, Intellivision Lives and Intellivision In Hi-Fi, but the white cardboard box. Or was this a prior release that they had leftovers of?

For that matter, were there any "new" games besides the CGE Services ones, the Atari2600.com ones, and NES Sudoku?

I heard they showed a new version of Donkey Kong they did to prove the Intellivision could do a better job of it, but I don't think I actually saw it myself.

But what you're referring to, I think, are the Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack playing cards.

I played the Intellivision Lives DS version, which was a phenominal port. I can't wait until it gets released.

I believe Keith showed off some multiplayer biplane game he was working on, but it wasn't for INTV hardware.

Ah, so the white box next to the little standee ad on the counter, and the boxes in the lower right of the pic, are all decks of playing cards? Okay, cool, glad to hear I didn't miss a new game, but those boxes looked a bit like the ones Sword Fight etc came in.

Any news on Intellivision Lives for the Nintendo DS? All I've heard have been rumors of its cancellation, but nothing official. Hope that isn't the case.

They were talking about Intellivision Lives DS at CGE 2K5... I hope it's still coming.

They have a near finished prototype of it, and it was there at 2k7 to play. The emulator is really good, the bottom screen is used for the overlay pad, and the top for the game itself. It apparently has local wireless play, but the other DS they had was charging at the moment I was trying it out, so I didn't get to see how well that worked.

From what I heard they ran into some snags but they've been straightened out, and now they're on the market for a publisher for a holiday release this year.

"Yeah that was a custom deck of cards.

I didn't see the new version of Donkey Kong -damn!

Edit: I asked Keith Robinson about the DK rumor. Here's his reply:

No, we didn’t intro anything about Donkey Kong at the show. If someone did do something about DK/Intellivision at the show, I didn’t hear about it. We did show a new version of Bi-Planes: Bi-Planes 3D, a pilot’s-eye version of Bi-Planes for the PC. We plan to post it to the web after a little more tuning."

I was the person demonstrating the new version of Donkey Kong for the Intellivision. I did not show it to Keith, but I did show it to Dave Warhol, and John Sohl. They both played it and thought it was quite nifty!

For those who don't know, it is a work in progress by Carl Mueller, the author of the world's first Intellivision emulator. It has 4 screens and if you like Donkey Kong, it is quite impressive. Chad Schell hates it, but he hates Donkey Kong! ;-)

I would love to see some screenshots and maybe some video if you have it. Is there a link you could provide?

{sorry about a threadjack here, but it seems this thread may have run it's course already anyway}

I can understand not particularly liking Donkey Kong, but I can't imagine really disliking it with passion. It's a good game, and I don't know what would make someone hate it, even if it just isn't their cup of tea.

Yeah, those look like screenshots. They were not supposed to be posted, but I think they came from Dave Harley's site.

Oh well........

I'm glad this "Flying Dutchman" forum finally resurfaced so I can follow up on this thread (I've been patiently waiting). I was just wondering if Carl Mueller's Intellivision version of Donkey Kong (also known as Dkinty) were still being worked on. Will we see it again at CGE 2KX? The link I provided just above is still good, so check out the excellent videos of this. If it's ever completed, I'll be the first in line.
