its just the cart but it is in mint condition all labels fully intact and no wear on any of it. I remember these were in pretty high demand at one point and I've been sitting on it for a while. Do these still have a high demand for atari collectors? do people still really go for atari? last I knew one sold for $100.

yes its quite valueable, on ebay you would expect to get over a 100 a think, probably well over 100.

well the last one that sold on E_bay that i just looked up sold for $65 or so. Has the demand gone down considerably on these or is it just 2600 games in general that don't have as high of a demand it once did.

Loose Atari games have gone down in price as loose Nintendo games have gone up. Boxed Atari games go for quite a bit. And the top ten rares or so still go for keraazy money.

Pepsi Invaders
Atlantis II
Cubicolor
Video Life
etc...

Cheers,
Ben

Was a time when you get $200 then $100 now $65. Yeap thats a trend and semi-rare loose games are loosing value.

Mint complete on the other hand have been going up.

Anyway its worth about $65 these days. Some seller try to package it with the first 2 common swordquests with mixed results

The carts tend to plummet in value as soon as I get one. See also silver label Gravitar and Chase the Chuckwagon.

as stated before loose atari stuff has plummeted. $65 is about right.

either way it was a good deal. I payed $15 for the swordquest, and also found a Chase the Chuckwagon for $5. Unless videogame collecting in general crashes, I don't see those game going under those values.

Yeah, as most have said, highly unlikely you'd get $100 for Waterworld nowadays...IIRC, someone had a loose Quadrun for $100 or so for sale recently.

Come to think of it, I think the kid offerred 25c and I couldn't do it because I really liked the guy and explained to him what it was really worth. He said he didn't care because it would be worth way more to me than him. So, I fixed his VCS and got it working on his TV and he called it even.

So, I kinda got it for free! This was 9 or 10 or 11 years ago, so memory is fuzzy.

Yup, can't beat that trade-off. I really need to begin carrying cash and going around to garage/yard sales.
