Don't forget Madden 2008 due later this month and that Power Rangers game scheduled to come out in November. Luckily those other titles you have listed are fairly recent and shouldn't be too hard to track. It must be a great feeling to know you have almost a complete set and you can just relax years down the road when the console becomes a hot collectable.

Is that the first Zatch Bell game? Just want to make sure, as I have the second one (got it cheap from PlayAsia of all places!). Given I didn't see the second Hulk game anywhere (surprised) then I'll probably take both from you. What's the price for first class international (aka airmail) shipping to UK? Oh and pics ;)
@Doonzmore - I know about Madden 08 coming out, spotted it being advertised when I was over for CGE. Didn't know about this Power Rangers game, got any news/links on that? I figured Madden was going to be the last Cube game...
ALSO to add here, I'm still after the twin combo limited packs of Wind Waker/Zelda Collection and Wind Waker/Metroid Prime if anyone has them :)

It is the Zatch Bell Game you listed above (Mamodo Battles) :)
Unfortunately I just noticed it said on the back of the box that the game comes with cards inside...but my copy doesn't have any cards :( I'll assume you want a full complete game. Let me know.
The Hulk is brand new sealed as mint as a cube game can be (you can't really mess up new disc games ;))

RRP is $40, though I swear I saw it in one shop for $30 and probably should have grabbed it. Don't mind picking it up for $20 used or something if in good condition.

Just wondering what games were the rarest/hardest for you to find. and also could you give me some more information on the twin combo limited packs of Wind Waker/Zelda Collection and Wind Waker/Metroid Prime? where were they available? have any links?

Most of it has been acquired for cheap, a combination of the exchange rate, limiting myself mostly to stuff $15 and under, and extensive use of the 10% off used games cards you can get. I wish you luck, though I started almost two years ago now I think, and it's definitely harder to find Cube stuff on the shelves.
I believe the WW/Zelda combo was in the WW Cube pack for the first run. I've seen a few, just not gotten hold of it yet. The WW/MP combo someone said was Target only, I think I've only seen one or two of those. Either are going to be pains to acquire, but lacking them doesn't mean (in my eyes) I won't have a complete set. They are just variants. I do have a number of variants in my collection however, but I'm not actively trying to get them all, usually just the "best" version.
The other hard part has been making sure they are all complete, especially if you buy them used. I've had some luck there, and to my knowledge everything I own is complete with everything it came with originally. Down to outer cardboard boxes, cables, peripheries, playing cards etc. Occasionally that has meant buying a game new and full price to ensure I have it complete, sometimes not.
To be truthful I've not struggled to find any game yet, there has always been some outlet available to get it (online stores, eBay, real shops, trading, private sales etc), it has mostly been whether to pay the price or not. For example I got Pokemon Box whilst it was still available online so I didn't have to fork huge bucks for that, just $20.
If I had to say "you're gonna have a bit of trouble finding these", then I would apply it to: Pokemon Box (now that even eBay has calmed down on the supply), Robotech Battlecry limited edition (the regular one though is quite easy to acquire), Donald Duck Going Quackers, Bust-a-Move 3000, NCAA Basketball 2K3, Freaky Flyers (could be a regional thing) and Shrek Super Party (this one I still need!).

when i found my WW/MP, i looked around here until i found this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77725&highlight=wind+waker+metroid+platinum) which states that it was a platinum system pack-in.

I did open it up because the contents had shifted when it was sent to me (it was shrinked at the time). Maybe I'll take a picture if I remember next time I'm at where my collection is housed at the mo. There's a CD I think and keychain and a couple of other bits aside from the game.

IIRC, when I had mine, they were greatest hits versions of the games. I'm guessing that would be why mayhem doesn't have it.

There are a number of "double packs" available, the Pure Evil being one. There's a pack with both Monkeyball games, and another with a Monkeyball and Sonic game. They are just the PC releases inside a cardboard outer case, and yes I've not bothered to get those.

To answer both questions...
I've imported consoles and games for the last 15 years or so, at the start this was because of the big two: getting them months before they were out here, and in proper format and 60Hz style, not some unoptimised 50Hz crap. Things are much better today than they were back then (hell, Europe even gets some games before the US), but now one of the factors is one reason importing was not so good back then: cost. How things change.
Whereas before we were at the mercy of the grey market importer charging us god knows what for a game (I remember paying 90 GBP, or about $150 at the time for a Japanese copy of SF2 Turbo for the SNES), today with the internet I can order at will from the US and Japan, and it costs me less than it would getting it in Europe. Most Wii games are 40 GBP here for example, importing it costs me about 25-28 GBP even with shipping. And quite often the US still gets it before Europe. And I can definitely have my prog scan too.
So yeah, collecting US titles cos I had the US system anyhow. And you can blame QoF too, she sorta pushed me into it.
(what's that Kris? *ducks the kitty attack* !)
As for the second question, they are the US store kiosk discs (full set of 35). Most come with white inlays, a few in black. There are two blank spines where I don't have the inlay just the disc, but that's for #17 and #25, the two hardest ones to find imo.

Well not necessarily hard to find, but as one of the later Cube titles, I guess it might not have had as many copies made. It was available sort of closeby but further away than we wanted to drive.

They aren't priced high its because the US dollar is so weak, $50 for a game here translates to approximately 25 pounds in the uk. Its the reason why many european travelers who visit the US do a crap load of shopping because its all basically half-priced shopping while they are here.

I don't know of any site. But there are definitely several threads and then one consolidated thread on list of gamecube bundles. But I don't know how to copy and post the link of the thread. If you teach me, I can post the link of the thread.
Or try searching "Gamecube list". That's how I found the thread.

I am reposting on this thread coz I thought someone here could help me out about PAL gamecube games.
I have been meaning to find a PAL gamecube list but with no luck. I don't understand why I can't search with the word PAL with the DG search engine, it says that because it has fewer than 4 letters. Anyway, hydrox, would you mind sharing your list or I am actually just interested in the total number of PAL gamecube games that were released.

do you know anything about the version of sonic riders that says "includes exclusive sonic x dvd" on the cover? I have it but it does not have a dvd nor do i know where a dvd would go inside the case. any information?

I found one in one of my many local Gamestop's for the awesome sum of $18.00. What's weird about that is apparently they have never gotten this game in before, because they had two price stickers on it. They charged me as if I bought Metroid Prime and LOZ:Wind Wakers seperately($4.99 and $12.99 respectively). I thought this was a rip off, so I said no thanks and left. But after thinking about how I'd never seen this before--I went back for it later that day. So for anyone looking for this game, call your local Gamestop/EB and ask if they have any in stock. I'm sure they have to pop up from time to time. Unless I just got super lucky8-).
