I've had a 1989 Zelda clock for a long time. It looks like a giant wristwatch and is in good condition, But nobody ever told me what it's worth.
What is it worth? :)

A lot, considering that I only know of three to still exist - yours, mine, and one I was e-mailed about just after acquiring mine. Yeah, it was in the 1990 Nintendo merchandise catalog but how many kids would actually say they wanted a clock? (outside of wanting everything in the catalog that is) And on top of that how many parents would buy them a clock over the other stuff? Then of course they have to survive until present day - they're not cheaply made but not super robust either. As you know, if you were to bend any part too much it would simply crack or shatter.

I"m glad that I picked it up then. I've only seen one on ebay, And that was when I bought mine. But I haven't been looking for them on Ebay.

I don't believe I've seen this clock, do you happen to have a picture to post or a link?

I have pictures at my site but they're before I buffed out a marred area in the face at the six o'clock quadrant as well as some scratches across the face. I took new pictures after the restoration work but had yet change them out, here are a couple of them...

Picture at the top is with the plastic face cover removed to reduce glare, I wanted a clean shot of the face graphics.

How long is that thing? The design itself is kinda comical if it is a wall clock in the shape of a wristwatch.

Not a child of the 80's, eh? Those swatch clocks were totally rad.

About six feet long overall.

I know I have told you this before. I have a normal round clock with the same art work in the middle, the face of the clock loooks to be the same size. I paid $50 for it on eBay a while back.

Yeah, I've come across about a dozen of those and while certainly not common, they don't seem to be nearly as rare as the wristwatch clocks. The non-wristwatch Zelda clock can also be seen as an illustration in the "Hot Buttons" ad on the back of early issues of Nintendo Power.
