Road Trip 2007

Hi all,
I will be departing Connecticut on/about Sept. 13 to Oregon to help my sister move back to CT. Long story short, I will be driving thier second car back from Oregon. I am wondering from anyone out there, is there anywhere more or less on the way that is a must stop? I don't have the exact route yet, but I will post when/if I know before I leave. Any/all replies appreciated!

I've driven from Chicago to Portland and wow talk about a whole lot of nothing. Idaho and Wyoming, be prepared for a blast. You'll see plenty of small towns/exits that have been completely abandoned, I've always wondered if there's left over crap in them (like a beat up old broken arcade).
