Here are a couple of things of interest:

Pagefault has updated his Zsnes WIP page.

Also, Ipher is releasing WIP builds of zsnes, almost on a daily basis. Note that these are not official builds by the Zsnes team.

That's terrific news. I absolutely love ZSNES, and I'll be looking forward to future versions. I really can't imagine what else you could do with this emulator, beyond playing SF Alpha 2. ZSNES is just about perfect as it is. Maybe some of you know more about this than me.

The sound quality of the newest WIP versions is unsurpased compared to past versions. There is still no timeline for when the official version will be released, but considering the amount of additions that have been made, bug testing will be long. I can keep you posted on progress (I'm an irc lurker on #zsnesboard)

ZSNES still can't run BS Treasure Conflix (extremely obscure Squaresoft game) without locking up for some reason. (Perhaps this wouldn't be so unusual if it were not for the fact that SNEeSe doesn't lock up with that game, even though it does corrupted the graphics.)

There are some newer builds of SNES9x available, too. I seem to recall reading that version 1.39a probably shouldn't have been released, and that some of these newer builds are much better.

Yeah, Matthew Kendora released a superior version of Snes9x... I used to host it on my website, but the traffic flood kind of shut down my site for the remainder of that month... you can still get the newer builds of Snes9x, there should be a link on my website.

Evan,
I see you're working on a SNES cart list, perhaps this will help?

Thanks for the ZSNES info!
