Just a note: like the SNES version, Frogger was published by Majesco (and like on the SNES, Frogger was the only new release published by them), but the interesting part is that it didn't get the "16-bit" upgrade the SNES version did, and looks like the arcade version.

The last game released worldwide was 'Show do Milhao Vol. 2', released in Brazil in late 2001.

I've got Frogger for the SNES, and it's awful. The charming folk tunes are missing, and the game just doesn't have the same "feel" as the original arcade version.

What about the Genesis version? Does it have the music?

There was an rpg that came out for the megadrive in the uk about 2-3 years ago.

Think the guys who made it had a website about it. Can't remember the name but it got good reviews like 7/10

Is that Begger Prince you are thinking of?

That was an unlicensed / homebrew translation of an older Chinese Megadrive game, though.

I thought it was the Show do Milhao 2 that was last "official" release worldwide. With homebrews, they'll never be a last official game.

PS The portuguese knockoff of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is actually fun if you can read a little portuguese or spanish. Just as easy as the american version

I have three copies of frogger for the Genesis, two are CIB and one is factory sealed. I dont believe I've ever actually played the game on the Genesis though....Hmmm I own almost every US released Genesis games (45 games away from a compete collection) I think there is probably a good 200 games I havent actually played. Whenever I buy a cart I always test it once I get it home to make sure it works but I dont think that counts as playing them. Once I complete the collection my next goal will have to be to beat ever US released Genesis game.
