CDX help, please!!!

OK, here's the deal, I was going to play Racing Aces tonight, I opened the lid on my CDX, popped the game in, closed it, and it popped back up. It won't stay closed now :(

Thankfully, I can put something heavy (3 Genesis games does the trick) on top of the lid, and the system will still work, but I want to fix this thing. I paid a good bit of money for it...and I'm a bit panicked about this thing all of a sudden breaking on me.

Any ideas how to fix it?? Thanks... :(

Sounds like a sticky eject button. Is the button popping back up? The latch that holds the lid down popping in proper place?

An answer so simple...yet so effective. Hadn't even thought of the eject button sticking down, thanks a lot!!!!


And I'm sorry that I didn't put this in the restoration forum...even though I think the thread is done...it could be shimmied if you wish...
