You may have seen many of these Nintendogs relay carts being sold on ebay but they are the European versions that have the code in the lower right corner ending in "EUR". I am curious of what the value may be for a USA download relay cartridge.

In case you don't know, these were used for a promo around Halloween 2005 at Gamestops for only 3 days or so. If you were lucky enough to actually find a Gamestop that had it up and running for customers to do the download, you got to meet Haylie Duff's dog which would give you an exclusive pair of star-studded sunglasses.

Here is a link to a story about this at joystiq: LINK, Click Here (http://www.joystiq.com/2005/10/31/nintendogs-download-disaster-at-gamestop/)

My cart is in nice shape as shown in the pics so any thoughts on value and/or rarity would be great. Thanks!

I just bought one for something close to 20 bucks at CGE. They move on ebay for just about that much. Used to go for more, but Nintendogs isn't all that anymore.

Wow! You got the USA version for 20 bucks? The copies you see being sold on ebay are the European version, I haven't seen a USA one on ebay yet.

I got mine off eBay... yes the US version. Paid about $35 I think. I believe Papastu got his from the huge promo seller in the swaproom... he had a few of them iirc.

I also got the US version off ebay auction style for about $25. The only ones that cost me a good bit were castlevania and mario kart. Kirby did as well, but that was before a whole slew were found.

Yup, I got his only/last Relay cart. He had a few Meteos and the regular Nintendogs ones when i had swung by earlier Saturday, but only the one Relay cart. However I know I wasn't the first one there cause Drexel said that he had gotten a few NFR carts there before I did, but he had left the relay cart because he already had one.

So, I guess it's worth about $20 - $30 then. I thought it was worth more but oh well, it's neat to have. Thanks for everyone's comments.
