Rescue Rangers 1, Ducktales 1&2, Super Mario Bros 2, and probably Gremlins 2 have been found. All others? NOA ones most likely no, the others maybe.

I had Rescue Rangers 2, so that's been found. I'm fairly positive that Captain Skyhawk exists. As far as the first party NOA stuff...no. And you'll never see one. Mario 2 was a total fluke, and only exists because NOE isn't as militant with their betas.

Any idea where I can find these prototype ROM files? If this is a touchy topic, my apologies.

Duck Tales 1 should be floating around. Ask any ROMs collector.

Duck Tales 2, I haven't released yet.
Chip 'N Dale 2, ditto.

Chip 'N Dale 1, I believe has been found. But I'm not positive. It's undumped. Mario 2 I know I've seen, and that's undumped as well. Gremlins 2 is undumped. The rest haven't been found, to my knowledge.

I hope they're found (especially Chip and Dale 1). Duck Tales 2 I don't care TOO much about, since it was so god-awful compared to the original .. Chip and Dale 2 wasn't grand, either. But, I'd like to see an alpha version that's got a lot of leftovers from the original, like the Ecco 2 alpha version (for Genesis/Megadrive.)

SHAMELESS PLUG!
http://ecco2beta.2ya.com
That's the URL to the Ecco 2 Beta site I run.
OK, so it's an Alpha, but the founder of the site a year or two back called it that, so, this keeps the confusion to a minimum.

ANYWAY! :) Is there a list of all the game prototypes found for the NES, MegaDrive, SNES, SMS/GG ..?

Thanks! :)

Oh, BTW .. have you dumped Duck Tales 2? It sounds interesting, if it's got some leftovers from the previous game.

Yeah, I dumped Duck Tales 2. I can't find anything different, though a data compare shows some changes.

What other prototypes do you have?

You mean which carts do I own? The only NES one I still have is Hero Quest, though I do have something like twelve Famicom protos.

What have I dumped/gone through? I'm a teasing bastard. Stay tuned.

...though I will tell you that the next ROM released on TheRedEye.net will be a beta version of Disney's Adventures in the Magic Kingdom.

@Redeye
if you keep up with your current schedule for Sachen releases, You might be finished by the end of the decade.

Pleeeeease, I'm trying to pretend these don't exist. Don't remind me!

Actually, I'm kind of at a standstill here, because I sent my boxes and manuals to a volunteer to scan. He promised them back within like two weeks, and it's been at least four months.

you may be able to find a beta for Doki Doki Panic, the Famicom game that became the US Super Mario Bros. 2.

And where might I find that?

Try Nintendo of America.

They'll gladly hand it out to anyone who asks. :P
