Done anyone know the difference between Sonic Mega Collection, and Sonic Mega Collection Plus? I've seen them in stores, but havent really looked at the cases, but I'm interested in purchasing one. Which one should I get? The original or the plus version?

I would get Sonic Mega Collection Plus because it brings more stuff, like more games.

Sonic Mega Collection on the GameCube has the following Genesis titles:
Sonic the Hedgehog (JP and US versions)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Unlockable Games:
Blue Sphere
Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Flicky
Ristar
Sonic Mega Collection Plus adds the following GameGear titles:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Drift (the first time it was released in Europe and North America)
Sonic Labyrinth
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Sonic Blast
I suggest Plus on the PS2 or Xbox thanks to the added games and save states, but its worth noting that the sound and music isn't as accurate as it was on the regular release for the GameCube.

The big deal with Plus is that you can actually save your progress in every game. The original Mega Collection only does that for games that supported it originally (Sonic 3, basically).

Exactly. I like being able to save in the middle of Sonic 2 and come back later.

Try to find the Super Monkey Ball Deluxe/Sonic Mega Collection Plus double pack for the Xbox - now there's a lot of good gaming for very little money. It's worth noting that the GC Mega Collection also has full screen play by default, but it's something the player has to choose manually in Plus, which isn't too big a deal, and by having it as the default, the GG games in Plus are actually playable without looking too stretched out.
