Sega Genesis/Mega Drive compatiblilty question

My question is that, will your American Genesis games work on my PAL Mega Drive?

Early games (pre 1992/3) will play. Most games after that are region locked. If I were you I'd mod your machine so you can switch between JNP/ENGLISH and NTSC/PAL so you can play the games at their true speed.

A lot of the later games will work with no problems aswell. I have several '95/'96 PAL games that all happily run on a Genesis 1 (I assume it's similar the other way round).
Of the top of my head, it's generally Sega-developed 1st party games, Codemasters and Konami games that have problems, but thats probably far from definitive.
