Metroid Prime 3 will have 'tokens' (achievements)

Normally, I'd be bitching about Nintendo stealing this idea from MS. But they're doing it a bit different than MS does, so I'll drop it, completely.

(And hey.... I happen to like Achievement points...)

I like that the tokens can be cashed in for in game content. Making their earning actually worthwhile. That alone 1ups achievements in my book. Though it's more of a tracking/unlock system it sounds quite simular.

Sounds a lot closer to, say, GH2's (and millions more) 'earn in-game currency to unlock more shit', only with online leaderboards as well. No rip-off here (well, nothing that's not been done to death already, like).
