I was reading the SNK comps thread and was thinking about other comps. Personally my three favorite comps right now are; (In no specific order)
SNK Metal Slug 4/5
SNK Metal Slug: Anthology
Sega Genesis Collection
I have a lot of different comps for the PS1/PS2/XB and was curious what other Sega Genesis comps (if any) are worth picking up? Also are there anymore announced.

You should get the Sega Classics Collection for PS2. It's a small grouping of some of the Sega Ages remakes that come out all the time on the PS2 in Japan. Originally these were going to come out here at $10 a pop but instead we got several on one disk for $19.99. :D
Some of the games suck, some are redundant, none of that matters. There's a TOTALLY AWESOME remake of Alien Syndrome that has coop and dual stick control like Smash TV. The compilation is worth obtaining for this one item. The new take on Space Harrier is also great. The 3D graphics are primitive but the gameplay is fun as ever.
You should also get Sonic Gems Collection on the Gamecube (or PS2 also for European players). Keep in mind that the Japanese GC version has Streets of Rage 1 through 3 on it, I'd seriously consider importing.

So the Sega Classics Collection for PS2 is good, check. I have the Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PS2 as well.

Don't mix it up with Sonic Gems. Sonic Gems has Sonic CD on it as well as several of the more obscure Game Gear games like Tales Adventure and Sonic Labyrinth. It should be relatively cheap too and it common enough that even Gamestops/EBs around here usually have several in. US Gamecube has no Streets of Rage trilogy though. :(

What the - did the PS2 (NTSC-U) miss out on Sonic Gems? I can't find a listing for it on anything but Gamecube.
