Finally "Beat" GH2

After some months of playing GH2 off and on, I finally beat Expert Freebird in Career mode the other night. The biggest stumbling blocks toward the end were Psycho Billy Freakout, Institutionalized, and Hangar 18. After I got through those, I actually beat Freebird after only about 6 or so attempts.

Have many of you people who play this been able to pull this off? Anyone who has bold enough to try and 5 star everything in Hard or Expert?

After taking so long to get through career mode...I think I have no will to put in the time to 5-star Hard and expert. I have 5 starred maybe 15 Hard songs and 3 or so experts, and I think it will stay that way :)

Gh3 aint out yet, you played GH2...

I have beaten it on expert and 5 starred everything through hard and have like 8-10 main songs to 5 star on expert and i havent beaten jordan yet. I've also beaten GH1 and GH80s on expert

I never did play GH1, I started on this one about 4 months ago. Playing the 360 version, so I only play 80s at a buddy's house.

Ive 5 starred everything on Hard, and beaten it on expert, but I don't have the patience or the time to try and 5 star the Expert level.

Can't 5 star Misirlou, Hangar 18 or The Trooper on expert, don't think I ever will. Can't manage to beat Jordan either. It's usually just a few stupid mistakes/star power misses that screws it up for me. I've made it to the end of solo c many times in Jordan but just screw it all up at the last few notes ;D.

I've beaten it on hard, but can't seem to beat certain songs on expert. My left hand fingers aren't fast enough to perform some of those notes. I am unsure if they will ever be. I end up just sliding my fingers across for some of the sweeps. I still have a blast playing it on hard or expert multiplayer.

On the first Guitar Hero, I think that I 5-starred every main song aside from Texas Flood (and maybe Cowboys from Hell). It's been a while since I've played. My favorite song to play is Crossroads.

On Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2 and Xbox 360, I 5-starred all but 3 of the main songs (Freebird, Misirlou, and Psychobilly Freakout). I've never beaten Jordan on Expert. I haven't played Freebird in months so I might be able to get 5 stars now. Favorite song: Strutter.

On Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, I haven't beaten Play With Me on Expert (though I don't own the game). Favorite song: Turning Japanese.

One song that I've been playing a fair bit more these days is The New Black. I guess that I've been listening to it quite a bit from playing MotorStorm that it's gotten into my head.

Congratulations, I've also beat expert. I have one more song to beat on hard, And it is Carry me home. I'm going to beat jordan on expert, Although that will take awhile.

I've 5-starred everything on expert except for Hangar 18, Six and Jordan. H18 I'll probably get eventually...the other two probably aren't gonna happen.

I never tried to 5 star anything but I beat every mode in less than a month, only playing it about half of those nights (So I guess I beat them all in about two weeks...maybe 30 or 40 hours total). On Easy and Medium I never missed one song on first try and only had trouble on 2 or 3 songs on hard, beating almost all of those on first try too. About 4 or 5 songs gave me trouble on expert and I passed most expert songs on first try. But, like I said, 5 starring them is a different story and I have no patience to do that.

When I first started I was doing horribly, even on easy. After I spent 2 weeks struggling I remembered "Hey, you're left-handed!" I switched on the lefty flip and the game became a LOT easier. I'm just trying to wrap up 5 starring the medium tour and I'm starting on hard. Bear in mind I've only been playing about a month on and off and this is my first GH.
