You have to give it to Atlus for making a game that bests its opponents by breaking their arms and then have their PR person taunt the wounded by claiming that "the machine isn't that strong" and that "even women should be able to beat it". That's pretty hardcore.

Shame about the recall.

Sounds alot like Sonic Blast Man.

It was an arcade game from the early 90's. What you had to do was punch this pad that popped up out of the machine. The only problem is, the pad's arm, that was supposed to fly back with the greatest of ease, when punched, was instead very rigid, and alot of people sprained or broke their wrists.

We had a minature golf course that had one when they first opened. It was there for about a week before they removed it from all the complaints. I played it once, and the next day I had bruises on my knuckles and lower wrist. I couldn't move my hand for about two weeks after..

Sounds EXACTLY like Arm Champ, there are 2 Arm Champs(AC 1 and AC 2) that I know of. That machine was kinda strong but not too strong to the point where it would break your arm. So if it is the same, I would blame the users of the machine for the injuries sustained. Unless they are just truly that weak and lose to an arcade machine.
