View Full Version : Loose Disc In a PS1 Double Wide

So in my copy of MGS, disc 2 is loose. It does not stay connected to the ring on the inside. The case is in great shape and nothing is broken. Is the ring on the CD too big? Help is appreciated.

Wouldn't the ring have to be too small? And wasn't MGS a single disc game? I have it and I know it had a double wide case, but if memory serves I thought it was just one disc.

No, it has two discs. You change to the second disc when first going into the boiler room (after the snowfield).

Yeah, it is the holder. No disc fits tightly enough.

I checked one of the cases and the plastic hub is divided into 6 sections. You can use a tiny screwdriver to bend the plastic tabs outward slightly, but be warned they will snap off with too much force.

Got it fixed, upon closer inspection one of the tabs was broken, but had ot broken off. So I just need a new back case for it. Any helpers?
