Wondering are the Samba de Amigo controllers are fixable?

I was wondering if they would be easy to fix. I don't care about collecting and just want to play the game, so the fact that they are no name maracas doesn't mean a thing to me, unless that is the reason they are faulty.

I suppose if you need your Samba fix, these are good as any. If one breaks you are only down $7.50. One thing that I have learned however is always go first party, no matter what. From controllers to memory cards to anything.

As for fixing, I have no idea. For all I know they can't be opened.

I know I've read a thread somewhere that had a guide to fixing faulty maracas, but can't find it now after a quick search :/ I'll dig around when I get the chance and see if I can find it...

Thank you, I've been trying to find a FAQ in google, but no avail. What may end up happening is me just waiting for the Wii version that is said to be due out in February. However, if we could settle this here, I will post in the Database on it.
